Markets explained
Match markets for all 15 games, plus group and outright markets that run through the tournament.
Back the team you think wins. In day-night games, the toss and evening dew can shape who's favourite.
Pick the team that lifts the trophy. With only eight teams, the prices are shorter than at a World Cup.
Which team tops a group, or whether a team makes the semi-finals. Net run rate often decides these.
Over or under a line for the first powerplay, when only two fielders can stand outside the circle.
Over or under a line for a team's full 50-over total. Compare it with recent scores at the ground.
For a single match or the whole tournament. Players on teams that reach the final get two extra games.
How it works
Goexch shows decimal odds. If your back bet wins, you get your stake multiplied by the price, stake included. You can also lay a team, which means betting that it won't win.
Match bets settle when the game ends. Group markets settle after the group stage, and outrights after the final.
Worked example
₹500 × 2.20 = ₹1,100, which is ₹600 profit plus your ₹500 back.
Tournament structure
Eight teams, two groups and fifteen matches in total. It's the shortest of the ICC's men's tournaments.
Stage 1
Two groups of four. Each team plays the other three once.
Stage 2
The top two from each group go through to two knockout games.
Stage 3
The two semi-final winners play for the trophy.
At an ODI World Cup, a strong team can lose twice and still finish in the top four. Here, with three group games, one defeat can leave a favourite relying on net run rate, and two usually means going home. That makes group winner and to qualify markets riskier for favourites than they look.
Compare with the ODI World CupODI phases
Fielding restrictions split each innings into three phases, and run rates change a lot between them.
| Overs | Fielders outside the circle | What usually happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 10 | 2 | Openers attack the new ball while the field is up |
| 11 to 40 | 4 | Spinners bowl and batters rebuild. Wickets here move live prices most |
| 41 to 50 | 5 | The death overs, when scoring speeds up sharply |
Conditions
These are general patterns rather than rules, so check each match's pitch report and forecast too.
Evening dew
In day-night games, a wet ball usually helps the team batting second.
Tiring pitches
Surfaces used several times can slow down late in the tournament, which brings spinners into play.
Steadier prices
Fifty overs give a stronger team time to recover, so live prices tend to move more gradually than in T20.
A DLS result needs at least 20 overs a side. Short of that, the match is a no result and match odds bets are void, with your stake returned. If a tie goes to a Super Over, match odds settle on its winner. Session and player bets only stand if the overs they cover were bowled, unless the result was already decided.
Cricket settlement rulesSide by side
Fewer teams, longer matches and a much higher bar for a rain result.
