Which ODI World Cup markets can I bet on?
Match markets for every game, plus outrights that run from the first match to the final.
Tournament winner
The biggest outright market in one-day cricket. Host nations often go deep, helped by home conditions and crowds.
To reach the semi-finals
Back a strong team to make the last four. It pays less than the outright, and it lands more often.
Top tournament batter
The most runs across the tournament. Top-three batters on teams that reach the semi-finals get the most innings.
Top tournament bowler
The most wickets across the tournament. Bowlers who bowl in the powerplay and at the death get the most chances.
Innings and 10-over runs
Over or under a line for the full innings or the first ten overs. Compare the line with recent scores at the same ground.
How it works
How does ODI World Cup betting work?
Goexch shows decimal odds. If your back bet wins, you get your stake multiplied by the price, stake included. Match bets settle the same day. Outrights settle once the final is over.
Over six weeks, an early loss matters less than in a short tournament. Injuries, travel and net run rate start to count instead.

Tournament structure
What is the ODI World Cup format?
The 2019 and 2023 editions used a single league table. Host nations and the top-ranked ODI sides qualify directly, and the rest come through qualifying. Earlier editions had Super Six or Super Eight rounds, and the ICC has announced that 2027 will expand to 14 teams, so check the format for each edition.

Semi-finals
The top four from the table go through to two knockout games.
Stage 3
Final
The two semi-final winners play for the trophy.
With nine games each, one bad day rarely knocks out a strong side. That's why favourites reach the semi-finals more often than at a T20 World Cup.

How do the phases of an ODI innings affect betting?
Fielding restrictions split a 50-over innings into three phases, and run rates change a lot between them. Wickets in the middle overs usually move live prices the most.

What should I check before a World Cup bet?
- Both playing XIs and any late injuries
- Who won the toss and what they chose
- The pitch report and recent scores at the ground
- The weather forecast, including any rain
What happens to World Cup bets if it rains?
An ODI needs at least 20 overs a side for a DLS result. Short of that, it's a no result: the teams share the points and match odds bets are void, with your stake returned. Knockout games often have a reserve day. Session and player bets only stand if the overs they cover were bowled, unless the result was already decided.
