Markets explained
Which WPL markets can I bet on?
Every WPL match carries these six, before the first ball and live.
Toss winner
Which captain calls the coin right. It's close to 50/50, so keep it to a small stake.
Toss market guidePowerplay runs
Over or under a line for runs in the first six overs. Look at the opening pair's strike rates first.
Player runs
Over or under a line for one batter, plus top batter for each side. Lines on the top three are where most of the action is.
Top bowler and wickets
Back the leading wicket-taker, or over or under a wickets line. Spinners do a lot of the work in the middle overs.
Season outrights
The champion, the Orange Cap and the Purple Cap. In a short season, a deep squad counts for a lot.
How it works
How does WPL betting work?
Goexch shows decimal odds. If your back bet wins, you get your stake multiplied by the price, stake included. You can also lay a team, which means betting that it won't win.
Live markets update after most balls. They close briefly after a wicket or a review, then reopen at the new price.

Tournament structure
How is the WPL tournament structured?
Five teams play a double round-robin. Only three go through, and only the top team skips the Eliminator, so finishing first is worth a lot more than finishing second. Keep that in mind for outright bets.
League stage
Double round-robin
Each team plays the other four twice. Fourth and fifth are knocked out.
Knockout
Eliminator
Second plays third. The winner takes the last place in the final.

The league leader plays the Eliminator winner.
WPL vs IPL
How is WPL betting different from IPL betting?
The markets look the same, but the numbers behind them are different. Don't carry IPL run lines straight across.
Lower totals
Scores are usually lower and there are fewer sixes, so totals and powerplay lines sit lower.
Top-order runs
A large share of each team's runs comes from the top three, which makes player lines on them popular.
Spin in the middle
Spinners take a lot of wickets between overs 7 and 15, so top bowler markets often favour them.
Head-to-head form
Each pair of teams meets twice, so the first game tells you a lot about the second.

What should I check before betting on a WPL match?
- Both confirmed XIs, and which overseas players are picked
- Who won the toss and whether they chose to bat or bowl
- Recent scores at the venue
- Dew in evening games, which usually helps the chasing side
What happens to WPL bets if rain shortens a match?
Match odds follow the official result, including DLS. If the match is abandoned with no result, match odds bets are void and your stake comes back. Session and player bets only stand if the overs they cover were bowled, unless the result was already decided.
